Twilight At Samode

Here are two pictures clicked during Twilight at Samode near Jaipur. I clicked both these pictures within a gap of two minutes. You can witness the change in the color and hues of the sky during this short span.

It entailed driving for an hour from the city, in pre-dawn hours. With the urban landscape dominating the topography it’s impossible to witness this phenomenon in the city. The entire experience was magical!

Samode is famous for the Samode Palace, a heritage hotel. A walk in the village of Samode was similar to walking down the memory lane with many heritage buildings.

  1. Wow – the colours in these are so beautiful! I love the way they blend even though the orange and blue are such different colours. And the silhouette… they are super pics! 🙂

    1. Right…It’s a magical experience watching this sunrise, even though we had to hike through a bit in the dark to reach the vantage point, but it was worth it…totally! Thanks for checking it out…

  2. Sky is always as fascinating as this whether it is at dawn or dusk…cloudy sky with sun playing hide and seek too is amazingly alluring.
Superb shots! love all the hues, all the moods of azure blue.
