Summer Sun At Rambagh Golf Club In Jaipur

Despite the harsh sun in summers, at times the sunset is remarkably beautiful. Jaipur temperature is currently soaring at 44-45 C. Earlier this week, I captured this picture of a sunset in Jaipur soon after a sandstorm. With the presence of sand particles in the atmosphere, sandstorms change the color of both the sky and the sun. I have previously posted a picture of Jaipur sky during a sandstorm. You can find this post here – Colors of the Sky/ Duststorm in Jaipur. I shot this picture at the Rambagh Golf club with a smartphone.

Even though the picture is not symmetrical according to the traditional concept of composition, there is something nice about the landscape. The color of the sky and blooming bougainvillea adds color to the frame while the background is filled up by the variety of local trees.

Rambagh Golf Club is an extension of Central Park Jaipur. Originally started in 1944 by Maharani Gayatri Devi, it was a part of the world-famous Rambagh Palace Hotel. It provides the city with a breathing space due to the green cover. Over the years the club became more elitist as it usually happens. With the new construction, a court case, the club is no more restricted to merely golf. It has many other activities and facilities which brings it a par with other clubs in the city. More on Rambagh Golf club, some other day!

Posting this for Friday Skywatch.

      1. That thought is our only consolation sometimes :))) Do you, guys, have air conditioning everywhere?
Btw, in Oslo these days the temps are up to +31, and I stay indoors too 😉 But the locals like to be in the sun 🙂

      2. No. Unlike middle East countries we don’t have air conditioning everywhere. Not everyone can afford to have air conditioning. But increasingly people are choosing this option. That’s quite warm. Hope you enjoy some pleasant weather as well.

      3. Uff, sounds like you can bear a lot of heat then, with no air conditioning. We don’t have it either, but not because of the prices :)) there is no point for it, but when it suddenly gets warm, then it is really warm, especially inside, with all our nordic house isolation :))

      4. Nature has given us enough skills required to survive in the climate we live in which explains why we have people living in such extreme temperatures. I guess there is very low population density in Scandinavia.

      5. Yeah, people do adapt to any climate. No, there is no such thing as population density here, haha. Totally maybe 40 million people in the Nordics. For such a big territory is not much. Not like India))

  1. I like sunrise/sunset a day or a two after heavy rains…it normally makes the view dramatic. The problem with summers is a bland look.

But you can’t expect from nature…it is that very aspect (uniqueness) that we all love!

    1. Absolutely. Out here a day or two means harsh and strong sun. It’s only after the rains you get great pictures with the clouds completing the scene. Thanks for sharing your views.

    1. Thanks for appreciating. There’s another rule which says that break all rules 😋 that’s what I have done here. I aimed and captured. I was suggesting that we generally follow the norm. You meant that red dot that Indian married women use between two eyebrows? You have a great observation. 😃👍

    1. Symmetry! This picture is not balanced. Of course, everyone has his or her own way of looking at a picture. I’m happy you liked it. 🙂
