I am not very lucky when it comes to an opportunity to witness the sunsets. Rather, I have posted many pictures of the sunrise on this blog.
Some days ago, I got lucky. I took an early break from the office to watch a heritage documentary on one of the Hill Forts of Rajasthan, which is a part of UNESCO World Heritage sites. During the commute in the evening, I came across this beautiful sky as the sun was setting in.
The LED lamp post on the sidewalk gives an interesting illusion. It looks as if the light from the lamp post has illuminated the sky!

It’s not often that I get to see the sunsets….and that too such a lovely one. I captured this on my smartphone as I was not carrying a camera. An icing to the cake was the contrail in the background. If you haven’t seen my previous post on contrail, click here. Have you ever got lucky with the sunsets? I would love to hear from you!

Great photo! But is it really a sunset? I guess you would have to climb your mountain high above Jaipur.

Its difficult to pick the best, Esha. This happened by chance and I wasn’t carrying camera with me. 🙂

I know its never easy to choose the best of the lot, and then, one needn’t do so because each shot is unique. I do click a lot on the go, and the iPhone is always a handy tool, you know.

Beautiful capture of the sky. I kind of fell in love with the sky in Rajasthan, especially in the countryside the sky resembles a dome. 🙂

The sky in Rajasthan looks beautiful during the winters. Winter season brings out the deep blue shade of the sky. Happy that you liked it, Cheryl. 🙂
