Sunrise at Jal Mahal |The arrival of spring

I was at Jal Mahal, earlier this week where I captured the following picture. It’s in stark contrast to the previous one, where the scene conveys, winter.

I’m sure some of you can recall my previous post from January – A Glimpse of Soft Winter Sun/Mansagar. One gets a feeling that warm, hot, and sunny days are around. Jal Mahal is a popular sunrise spot in Jaipur.

    1. Thank you. Even though I do get up early, but finding such landscape is impossible in the urban jungle. It’s always a task to capture sunrise as it involves drive time.

      2. Rekha, generally I don’t post pictures which are common on internet. So the pictures of common tourist spots I post have a different angle. I’ll post picture of sunrise with Jal Mahal, soon. I’ll make a post on Jal Mahal, itself, a little later. Hope this helps 🙂

  6. That’s wonderful, Arv. Spring is about to come, even in Istanbul. I just realized this morning that some trees started having some seeds on its tops. I don’t know exactly what those are. But I think some leaves will start growing again in the next following weeks and we must say good bye to the winter..

      2. Thanks Meena for encouraging words. BTW, did I tell you that I really love the blue skies of Kenya. I don’t know if you get such deep blue sky throughout the year but I have seen some amazing picture of the sky from Kenya. 🙂

  8. Again I say, the early bird catches the worm. You are constantly rewarded with outstanding photographs of the sun rise in Jaipur. Already you hinted at the arrival of the summer’s heat, while we still see one snow fall after another.

    1. Even here in Himalayan regions, there’s fresh snowfall. Today we received good amount of rainfall, too. Unusual for this time of the year! Thanks for appreciating the picture. Have a great weekend. 🙂

    1. Cathy, I used DSLR camera to capture this picture. Although I have started using smartphone, extensively for the photography but some pictures are best suited for the “expert”. Do you have one or you reply on smartphone?
