Surrender yourself!

Everything is determined, the beginning as well as the end, by forces over which we have no control. It is determined for the insect, as well as for the star. Human beings, vegetables, or cosmic dust, we all dance to a mysterious tune, intoned in the distance by an invisible piper” – Albert Einstein

    1. Thanks, Piyali. Same thoughts here. We all have to accept the fact that there are many things in life we can’t control. That’s something even a genius like Albert Einstein admitted.

      1. Agreed, Piyali. Our education and upbringing is geared towards doing everything we can to achieve something. For a society that believes that everything is possible, this is hard to digest. But this is a reality. Thanks for sharing your thoughts.

  1. This picture speaks a thousand words! And, the caption is just perfect! The quote is something that I’ve always believed in and so good when someone of the stature of Einstein validates that line of thought! Thanks for sharing this beautiful capture and joining us for #WordlessWednesday, Arvind.

    1. I agree. I was surprised that even Einstein agreed about “unknown” force that exists in our lives. I’ll join in this WW whenever I can, Esha 😃

    1. Thank You. I guess that’s the fact. There are things which we humans can’t control. Till this date, we haven’t been able to tame the mother nature. Probably, we all like to believe that we can do anything that we want. But this is just a fallacy. Don’t you think so? 🙂

    1. Absolutely, Parul. Monochrome is great for conveying emotions. In some of the ancient temples in Jaipur, it is worth experiencing devotion.

  2. Albert Einstein, though being one of the most celebrated scientist, has accepted the existence of Supernatural force. I have read multiple quotes of him suggesting my statement!
    Anyway great click Arv!

    1. I think he realised that humans are a very tiny component of the factors at play in both universe and the solar system. I haven’t come other quotes so I’m happy to learn this. 😃

  3. Powerful quote by the great mind himself. I collect Eisenstein quotes along with Edgar Allan Poe. I find their understanding of how minds work very poignant. Often they help keep perspective too of a reality that seems to be led by media misdirection.

Never looked into wordless Wednesday either. I’ve seen a few bloggers I know doing it, but haven’t actually taken the plunge yet!

    1. I’m happy to know you follow Einstein’s quotes. I’m not a big fan of quotes but sometimes I mention because I find it true and befitting. I started WW a few months ago but somehow didn’t like much. There were some fellow bloggers who were doing it and I jump in whenever I have something to share. Thanks for sharing your thoughts, Gary. 🙂

      1. I hear you! My small collection is based on my writing really. Older ones too. Some are directly writing related such as Poes or King. Einstein I like because of his genius. I think jumping in when the moment feels right is a very good approach too. No intense must do deadlines as such.

      2. Of late that’s what I have been doing for many other link ups like Skywatch Friday or WPC. Your writing? That’s great 👍. I like that. 😃
