The following pictures mark a beautiful escape from the hustle-bustle of Jaipur.

One can sit here and watch the flights land and take off from Jaipur Airport. Luckily, there are no high rises around to block the views. Alternatively, it is a great spot to relax meditate, and do yoga in Jaipur!

Do you like to do Yoga or meditation? If yes, then you will enjoy all such places for yoga in Jaipur. Isn’t this a beautiful landscape?
By the way, do you know that these Aravali hills are older than the mighty Himalayas? To know more, you can click here.

Great images of your home region! Indeed the Himalayan mountains are geologically the youngest mountains and are still rising. Great post!

Thanks Vandana!
You are right, Aravali extend all the way to Haryana. Have you ever explored around?

Not much. Only used to go for morning walks and sometimes came across a peacock, and monkeys. That’s it. Now they have made a wider road and also a toll road. The traffic has increased manifolds. So it’s no more enjoyable to walk there. Now humans have encroached upon every available space and not much is left for flora and fauna.

I can understand…things have changed drastically here as well, but still we are still privileged in that respect. But I often wonder how long? Greed and money are like virus!

This isn’t really a desert area! Of course, it’s a semi arid region.During monsoon months -rainfall period, the area turns lush green. Thanks for the visit and comment! 🙂
