Colors | Jaipur Sunset Sky At Clarks Amer

Clouds come floating into my life, no longer to carry rain or usher storm, but to add color to my sunset sky.  Rabindranath Tagore

It was Sunday evening when I clicked this picture at Hotel Clarks Amer Jaipur during my visit to The Farmers Market. I noticed the beautiful sunset sky when I was about to leave the venue in the side view mirror of the car. I decided to capture it on my smartphone. It is not frequently we witness clouds during the sunset in Jaipur sky. But when we do, expect some vivid sky colors.

I haven’t shared a picture of either the sunset or sunrise during the last five months on Jaipurthrumylens. Many readers will be able to recall how Skywatch Friday was a recurrent feature on this Jaipur blog; I would share pictures of sunrise and sunset every week. I would love to hear your opinion on this.

      1. Actually, it’s very different here. The moon appears to look bigger here. 🙂 Pollution levels are equally bad. Especially in the winter and surprisingly even today. The pollutants are fine dust and yellow dust.

  1. Lovely shot Arv!!
You definitely love to capture sunsets and sunrise, have seen lots of beautiful pictures in your blog.
During summer vacation in a group we used to have a daily morning walk from Durgapura railway station till Jawahar circle. Clarks Amer area used to be very quite those days. Now it is so difficult to cross the road.

    1. Thanks, Deeksha. Yes, i agree. Tonk road and JLN both are very busy roads. By the way, who cares for the pedestrians in our country?

These days one is safer in park than crossing the road.

  2. So beautiful! I would love to see more sunset and sunrise shots here. I remember that’s how I landed first on your blog.
Also, I saw gorgeous sky and colors in Ranthambore. That was beautiful.

    1. I agree Parul, I used to post a lot of pictures of sunrises. I guess I started posting about other things so this had to take a back seat. I’ll try to be more regular, Parul.
Thanks for sharing about the post you liked. Appreciate your feedback. 😊

  3. Beautifully captured Arv. When I’m driving to work and I see the sun rise, I can’t take photos. On my home with miserable drivers full of road rage, I see the sun set and my companions smile when I say THATS compensation for the commute, God’s love is gloriously evident, natural boons, sweet treats, all to be cherished.
