Badrinath temple premises is one of its kind temples in Amer Town in Jaipur. It can be spotted from Amer Fort itself very easily. It is a pale cream-yellow colored building, situated on a small hill commanding a great view of the vicinity. Probably, it is the largest temple in Amer.
It also happens to be the biggest complex in its surrounding. If you happen to be in the parking lot of the Amer Fort near the rear entrance gate, Badrinath Temple will surely seek your attention with its magnificent presence. Access to Badrinath Temple is through Amer’s old town. It is not far away from Panna Meena Kund, Ambikeshwar Temple, Anokhi Museum, and Jagat Shiromani Temple.

Philippa…I’m not surprised with your comment! That is because it is not popular amongst locals.Also this temple is maintained by a particular sect of Brahmins, which also can be another reason. The view of Amer Palace from this temple is amazing…I’m sure you will agree!

I generally try to look for things which are off the standard tourist map,some of which is even unknown to vast majority of locals like kalki temple and the badrinath temple
